Open Outlook Express. After it has finished loading completely, click the "Tool" button on the top and then press the "Accounts button".
A new window will open up.
Now select the email you want to edit and press the "Properties" button.
a new menu will open
Press the servers tab and you will see this page.
Check to see if your info is correct.
To fill in your "incoming mail server" If you are using POP3 setting, use "pop.everyone.net"
If you are using IMAP setting, use
Your "outgoing mail (SMTP)" will be "SMTP.everyone.net"
Fill in your full email address as your "Account name", then add your password.
Make sure "My server requires authentication" is checked.
Then press "Advanced"
(If you click the IMAP or POP3 link above, press the back arrow in your browser to return to this page)
Fill out your "outgoing mail" with 25.
if that fails, use 2525. Verizon Clients will use 587
If you are using "POP3 setting" as your "Incoming mail" use 110.
If you are using "IMAP setting" as your "incoming mail" use 143.
Optionally, check the "Leave a copy of messages on server" button and choose between the two options below that will work best for you. Then press "Apply"
Your Email is set up!
(Please note that Outlook Express has known issues with POP3 accounts. If you have repeated issues with a POP3 account, try switching to an IMAP account to see if it fixes your problem)
