Step 1

After opening Mail in your Mac Window, go to the top left corner of your screen and click "mail".

Then click "preferences"

A new page will open up.

Click on the "Accounts" button.

Step 3

If you are setting up a new email, press the plus button and go to "Setup A New Everyone.net Account On Mac Mail" on our page.

 

 

Click on the Email you wish to edit, then the info you can change will be displayed on the right.

Enter a description for your email, your Full email address, and your name.

If your account type is a POP3 make sure your "incoming mail server:" is "pop.everyone.net".

If your account type is a IMAP make sure your "incoming mail server:" is "imap.everyone.net"

Your full email address is your "Username" then enter your password.

Then, click the "Server settings" button.

Step 4

Use "smtp.everyone.net" as your "Outgoing Mail Server".

For your "Outgoing server (SMTP)" please use 25. If that number doesn't work, then try 2525 instead.

For Verizon Customers, Please use 587.

Make sure "Authentication" is set to Password.

Then enter your full email adress as your "User Name." Then fill in your password.

Then click the "OK" button.

 

Step 5

Look and remember what type of account you are using (Either POP3 or IMAP).

Next, press the "Advanced" tab.

Step 6

Make sure your account is enabled, included when automatically checking for new mail, and copys are removed after retrieving a message.

 

Double check your port settings

If your incoming server setting is a POP3, input 110 into "Incoming server." If your server setting is a IMAP input 143 into "Incoming server."

 

When you are all finished close out of the menu

Your email is now set up!
