What I’m Grateful For: My Team best real estate websites

A lot has happened since I jumped into Cevado in February of 2016. I didn’t know much about running a true “tech” company – I knew a lot about website design, client satisfaction, and creating beautiful things, but I didn’t know a thing about engineering teams, how to manage timeframes and expectations on big coding projects, and how NOT to drive my team crazy with my incessant demands and questions.

I’m so grateful that people hung on and didn’t jump ship back in the days! And I’m also incredibly grateful for Lisa, the amazing project manager that is now the intermediary between my wish for magically making everything happen all at once, and the real world of organized programming.

What I’m Reading: Meditations: A New Translation by Marcus Aurelius. This book is absolutely a must-read. I find myself floored every time I pick it up. His wisdom from 161AD is as fresh and timely and pertinent today in the COVID crisis as it has been for the last 2,000 years. Both an emperor and a Stoic philosopher, this man’s insight into the workings of human nature and societies is breathtaking. If you don’t have this book, really – really – just order it. Get a paperback copy and keep it somewhere you can pick it up and just browse through it. You’ll be glad you did!

Web Tip: Now-a-days it’s hard to find a single person that is not on social media. You and your brand should be top of mind for potential clients. Make sure that you are actively sharing not only your new listings, but also content that potential buyers can learn from!

Quote I’m Pondering: “We are too much accustomed to attribute to a single cause that which is the product of several, and the majority of our controversies come from that.” – Marcus Aurelius
