What I’m Laughing At This Week:

Myself, trying to be a chicken-mom!

So pandemic times = why not raise laying hens and have a steady supply of eggs at home?

So today I’m sitting in my home office with a heat lamp bumping my elbow and a box of peeping chicks scratching next to me…. We got the wee chicks yesterday afternoon, and with the outside temps dropping below freezing last night, at midnight I gave up on trying to get their box and heat lamp in the coop warm enough and brought them inside. So my work calls are peppered with peeps, my feet are too hot because the heat lamp is on them, and the red light is messing with my eyes. But other than that, all is well in the world!

What I’m Reading: Still not having a lot of bandwidth for reading these days. Work has been more consuming than ever before, and then once work is somewhat over, catching up on the news has felt pretty urgent. Things are changing at such an accelerated rate. I’ll share my favorite resources with you though – NPRWIRED, the Atlantic, and the NY Times.

Web Tip: Keep it simple! A study done by Google shows that end users are not a fan of websites that are too complex. Keep your website simple and familiar but keep it up-to-date. Give us a call today – we can help you find the balance of elegance, simplicity, and familiarity.

Quote I’m Pondering:

“I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives.”

― Ralph Waldo Emerson
