Real Estate websites

Here it is, a Friday in the midst of the winter holidays…. You might be taking a long break, or maybe you’re still hustling just like every other day. Regardless, you deserve to take a deep, delicious breath of air. I promise this will be short, sweet and (hopefully) worth the read!

  • What I’m grateful for– Honest feedback. Even though it can be uncomfortable to hear, there’s no substitute for it. My most recent example was last Friday, someone emailed back in response to my Friday email that really I should be emailing about website advice, not these other things like gratitude or books or what-have-you. While I disagree with him about this, I pondered for a bit and realized that including a really good tip for your website or digital marketing would be a great addition! So NEXT FRIDAY you’ll see one more bullet from me, related to your website and all things online!
  • What I’m reading Winter World – The Ingenuity of Animal Survival by biologist and author Bern Heinrich. I’m surrounded by snow and I live deep in the woods of the North Cascades, so this is the PERFECT book for winter reading. The latticework structure of ice and why it matters, the life that continues all winter long in the subnivean (beneath the snow) layer, insects with their own antifreeze….this book is lovely and deeply interesting. It’s the perfect idea source for your winter conversation starters!
  • Tip from Nick– When was the last time you Googled yourself? Well, for most people the answer is never! The reality is even if you haven’t Googled yourself, your prospective clients have. For most of us, it’s time to brush off and improve our Google search online image, increase our SEO and increase our number of reviews! Go check out your results. Is the website you own showing up? Does it appeal to sellers? Do you have a Google Business Page? How many reviews on Google do you have showing? What other sites are showing up and is your profile representative of your brand and message?
  • Random thing I’m mulling over– One of my favorite TEDTalks is how stress CAN ACTUALLY BE GOOD FOR YOU! If you haven’t watched this already, it will make a huge difference in how you see stress and the way your body responds to it. Give it a watch and let me know your thoughts!
