Step 1

Open Windows Mail. After Mail has finished loading completely, click the "Tools" button at the top of the screen. Then press the accounts button.

A new window will open up.

Click the "Add..." button.

Step 3

Another window will open up.

Highlight the "E-mail Account" option.

Then click the "Next" button.

Step 4

Enter your display name,

Then click the "Next" button.

Step 5

Enter your full email address,

Then click the "Next" button.

Step 6

Choose between IMAP or POP3

for your email. If your account type is POP3 select pop3 as incoming email server type. Make sure your "incoming mail server:" is "pop.everyone.net".

If your account type is IMAP select IMAP as incoming email server type. Make sure your "incoming mail server:" is "imap.everyone.net"

For your "Outgoing mail server (SMTP)" use "smtp.everyone.net"

 

Make sure the "Outgoing server requires authentication" is checked.

Then press the"Next" button.

Step 7

Enter your full email address as your "E-mail username" and then enter your password.

Then press the "Next" button

Step 8

Press finish to close the window.

There are still a few steps to complete the setup process.

Step 9

Click on your newly created email and press the "Properties" button.

Another Window will open up.

Click on the advanced tab and get to this page.

For your "Outgoing server (SMTP)" please use 25. If that number doesn't work, then try 2525 instead.

For Verizon Customers, Please use 587.

If your incoming server setting is POP3, input 110 into "Incoming server." If your server setting is IMAP input 143 into "Incoming server."

 

Optionally, Check the "Leave a copy of messages on server" button and choose between the two options below that will work best for you.
